Okay... so this rain is killing me. For all of those who have to reschedule... no worries... we'll get it done.
This morning I woke up to darkness and thought... UGGGH... I'm going to have to cancel yet another session. But by 8:00 a.m... I had the perfect conditions for b/w images. My session was at 10:00... and as I was driving towards Wildwood... I saw the impending dark clouds... chasing me down Central Avenue. Luckily, the "P" family was willing to "risk it"... lightening and all... and so we proceeded.
The "boys" were great... the youngest, "B"... was a character. Here's one example...
Sixth grade silliness... love it... (see "B"... I told you I was going to post some of these :)
What was even more surprising was that despite the lack of light... I have a hard time putting most of these images in black and white. I have to credit my 28mm 1.2 lens... love it. It pulls light from everywhere... so even in cloudy, overcast conditions... this is what you get... BE SURE TO CLICK ON EACH IMAGE TO SEE FULL FRAME
The above was under a dark overhang...
Here's B's big brother... "D"...
He's a serious one...
These next two... as I was downloading them... I got a little teary eye'd. I'm not sure why... sometimes I react this way when seeing certain images... perhaps because I have 2 boys... and I know before long... they are going to be this age.
Here it is in b/w...
Here's another...
Okay... give me a minute... I'm weepy again :)
Alright... one more from the session...
One more thing... I am still looking for tomorrow night's session... Tracy "K" who has a little one "R"... please call me to confirm... I do not have your number.
And while I'm here... here's a few from Seattle... still working on these...
Baby "L"... just 4 weeks old...
Love the hand...
Miss "O"... you'll remember her from last year...
and finally... one of my Zoe... we found this cool store... Archie McPhee's and these painted posts were in the parking lot (each post was a different animal... and Zoe just happens to love flamingos).
And finally... and I never post pictures of me... but I just got this in an e-mail (which explains why its blurry... but I look better blurry in pictures anyway :) Here's me at the finish line of the triathlon... so much fun... can't wait for next year's.
Alright... I'm done for now... until tomorrow.
