Dark and dreary day... I think not!

Sorry I didn't get these up last night "L"... I know you were looking for them.  "L" and I went back and forth yesterday trying to decide whether she wanted to go ahead with pictures... it was dark, wet and dreary to say the least.  But... personally, I would shoot in overcast weather any day... it's fantastic for black and white... and color...

So... does it look like a dark and dreary day...?  I think not!

And finally... this was taken at the end of the shoot... LOVE THIS ONE OF "THE BOYS"...

I had 3 shoots today... so until tomorrow...

Hi all...

It was a busy weekend and even busier week.  To all of my HALLOWEEN families... disks and prints were mailed out today. 

As promised... here is a sneak peak from my "H" family.

This little one just cracked me up...

And this is her big brother... he gave her a ton of grief (the good, big brother kind of grief) during the entire shoot.  He looks innocent here... doesn't he...?  Those sneaky big brothers...

And this was my favorite... one of the last taken...

The next few are from a shoot Sunday morning... guess who these boys root for every weekend?  We found relief from the direct sun under the bleachers...

Love the light in the next one... the sun was a little high... but we made due... I am showing it in both color and high contrast b/w...

And finally... the little brothers... (don't you love the tattoo?)

On a personal note... I want to say again, I am incredibly humbled by the fact I am booked through 2007.  I continue to receive calls daily about sessions in November and December... and I feel terrible that I have to turn people away.  If I could shoot every day, I would... because I just love it.  So... for those of you who are reading this... please send me an e-mail with your address... and please call me again in the Spring.

Halloween Mini Session, Part II

I couldn't have asked for better weather... or cuter kids for that matter.  Another BIG thank you to those who came out in costumes... as well as to those of you who waited so patiently.  Given this was the First Annual Halloween Mini Session... I will definitely do things a little differently so that next year... there will be no waiting time.

I tried my best yesterday to leave everything in color... but today's location screamed b/w...

HALLOWEEN MINI SESSIONS

First of all, a BIG thank you to all of you who came out for the first of two Halloween Mini Sessions.  Those kiddos about killed me in their costumes... CUTE doesn't even describe it...

So, without further adieu... here are some of my favorites from yesterday...

There were so many other cute ones... so what I have decided to do... in the spirit of Halloween (and you all know how much I love Halloween)... is to print the favorite 5x7... but add additional images to your CD...

HUMBLED...

TODAY IS THE DAY... MY HALLOWEEN MINI-SESSIONS... I AM SO EXCITED... CAN YOU TELL?  I AM WRITING IN ALL CAPS :)

I am so incredibly humbled to announce that 2007 is FULLY BOOKED.  I have a few things that I will announce December 1st... but one thing I know for sure... 2008 is going to be an AMAZING year.

My Guy "D"...

As promised a couple of days ago (thanks so much for your patience "D")... here is my guy "D"... another senior.  He is the type of boy I'd want my daughter to bring home... so polite, kind, and HANDSOME!

I am just going to start with my favorite... I just dig it... I love the background...

The "G" Family...

The "G" family... couldn't be a nicer family.  The dad is hysterical... but unlike last year's session, he behaved this year.  He's a well known figure around town... so you might recognize him.  The mom has the prettiest smile of anyone I know... and she is as nice as she looks...

I am just going to start with the parents first because I love this picture...

I thought I would try something different... what do you think?  It looks like it was done in a studio, huh.  No... it was done out in the middle of a field... the biggest difference... natural light.  The boys got a kick out it.

My November sessions are now CLOSED... thank you, thank you.  I am booking the first week of December... and then it is really up to Mother Nature.

Busy weekend...

Another great weekend of sessions... a family session, a senior session... and a baby session... a 7 monther... LOVE IT. 

I am going to bed early tonight... feeling just a bit under the weather again.  As such, I am posting just a few from tonight's session.  Tomorrow I will post the "G" family as well as my guy "D"...

I got that little "baby" itch again... but no worries... it went away as soon as I walked in the door at my house and all 3 kiddos were wanting something...

Halloween Mini Session Update

Hi all...

For those of you signed up for the upcoming Halloween Mini Session scheduled next weekend... you should have received an e-mail from me today.  If for any reason I missed you on my list... please contact me immediately.

October is completely booked... if not double booked.  THANK YOU, THANK YOU.  I will be traveling November 1-5 for out of town sessions.  Please call me if you would like to book a session in November.  I am offering mini sessions again for November 7th, November 13th, November 14th and finally November 20th.  They are $50.00 and will be held at 11:00 a.m.  These are perfect for the one child family.  If you are in need of images for Christmas... all orders need to be in by November 27th to ensure a Christmas delivery. 

Some of you have inquired as to whether I offer GIFT CERTIFICATES... I DO!!!  And they make GREAT GIFTS for Christmas... For more information, please give me a call.

The "R" Family...

When "K" first left a message wanting a session... I thought to myself... what a cool name.  I wish I could tell you what it is... but trust me... it sounds as though it should belong to a movie star.  When I met with them tonight, I told "K" that if I ever had to enter the Witness Protection Program... I was going to use her name.  Her husband then said... "great... if her identity is ever stolen... we'll know who did it". :)

Meet Mr. Blue Eyes... do eyes come any bluer... this is one handsome kiddo!

I almost hate to put him in b/w... but I did for this one...

Meet little sis "Miss M"... not difficult to see why I kept wanting to call her "Twinkle Toes"... this little one had a personality!

This next one is my favorite from the session... I knew it would be the minute I took it... love the colors... and Twinkle Toes :)

Miss "M" is going to cherish this one in the next 20 years... I love mother/daughter shots...
